Baby It's Cold Outside
It was a while ago (I can't recall if it was one month or if it was before winter break) when it was freezing cold outside. I commented on how horrible my friend Tyler looked, jokingly, of course. He turned around, clearly annoyed, and said "I'm sorry! But as the temperature goes down so goes my sense of style!" Although I continuously made fun of him for my own amusement, I think he has a pretty good point. There is nothing more unattractive than a poor girl/boy, clearly under dressed, shivering in the cold while waiting for the bus that is most often late on a snowy day. Tomorrow is supposed to be -24 degrees, so bundle up friends! Because if you don’t I will be making fun of you. Summer is a creeping; it will be here soon enough so we can all bare our beautiful skin. That is, if we don’t have frostbites covering them.

On a fashion note
I think my first fashion blog will be on Friday the 4th after the career fair.
In terms of fashion, I don't have a tenth of Anna Wintour's budget. Hell, I don't even have a tenth of the budget of her dog walker's. However, I don't think you need a big bank account to look good. Some of my friends wear things from local boutiques and some even get their clothes from Value Village. Every now and then, I find myself looking at them and admiring their funky styles and sometimes, even go as far as finding their value village looks from places where I would normally shop.
I am also not too keen at discovering new fashion trends. In fact, it normally takes me a while to accept a fashion trend. On good times, I am a season late. For example, when shoulder pads were making a comeback I thought they were pretty silly, but now I love them and look for them in my next purchases. All the while the fashion world has moved on to something else to be obsessed with. Before he committed suicide, I never paid much attention to Alexander McQueen; I thought his collections were outrageous and un-wearable. Upon further examinations of his clothes after his death, I realized how artistic his designs were. They were impractical because the clothes were a “brilliant mix of design and technology”. No other fashion shows will be as poetical and theatrical as the ones put on by Alexander McQueen. In this case, I was late by a life time and I can only make it up by playing reruns of his fashion shows on the brand’s website.

Introduction
Most recently I went to an interview for an internship position. During the interview I was asked the question "Do you have any hobbies or extra curricular activities?" I sat there in silence for a good minute trying to think of an answer that would make me seem less like an antisocial geek that only travel from my house to school and back. In my desperate attempt to make myself look cooler, I blurred out activities, such as half marathons, that I haven't done since high school. The interview got me thinking, because unless you count shopping and Foosball as hobbies and extra curricular activities, between school and catching up on my TV shows, I really don't do much else. This is why I am starting this blog (so I'll have more reasons to stay at home and stare at my computer).
I am not too sure about the direction of this blog, but I will start with anything that amuses me, which is pretty much everything, a bit about fashion and some beauty products hits and misses. We will go from there and see where we end up. There may be grammar and spelling errors, after all my English is as poor as my ability to stop myself during a massive retail therapy, I will try my best to be as grammatically correct as I can. But then again, wouldn't it be more fun if you have to guess what my broken English is trying to say?
